Born and raised in San José, Costa Rica in 1981. I studied graphic design for a while but didn’t finish. Since then, I’ve built a pretty decent career working in advertising agencies and doing personal projects here and there.

In 2012, I co-founded an illustration and animation studio called Osopez—we ran it until 2023. These days, if I’m not illustrating for someone else, I’m probably illustrating for me.
